I am literally pinked out – from head to toe. If you would pick a color, would what it be?
We all know wearing one color can be a huge challenge and a little different. I, myself was not much a fan of monochromatic dressing until recently. I mean, yes, I have worn white from head to toe but this was a little different to me.
The first thing you have to ask yourself is what color you want to pick. Black, white, and neutral colors are so easy to work with. However, with spring right around the corner, I decided to pick pink. You want to be very careful whenever you pick a color because you don’t want to end up looking like a walking carrot or cheeto (unless if you’re Katy Perry)!
Once you have chosen the color, make sure you follow these few tips to make your look stand out. First, pick out different shades of that color. As you can see, the scarf and handbag were a different shade of pink than my top and trouser. Besides having different shades of that color, you must also wear different textures. Balancing out these two adds more dimension to your outfit. I would also recommend layering your clothes (by adding a jacket, vest, etc.) to further rock your look! The last style tip to make you stand out is remembering to walk with confidence. As Blake Lively once said, “The most beautiful thing you can wear is confidence.” So, ladies, show them what you have got!
