It’s always the last day of vacation that is always the hardest to say your farewells. Whether you’re traveling for a few days, a week, or a month, by the time you get to the last day you either can’t wait to go back home or are trying to fight the tears of goodbye. I definitely fell in love with Florida and did not expect myself to love it so much. This getaway by far has been one of my favorites and definitely feels like it’s going to be on my top list since I got to do it with my mom.

On the last, full day in Florida, we ended up sleeping in. After taking our time getting ready and having breakfast, we headed out to start off the day at South Miami Beach. We stayed around that area for around 3 hours, walking on the beach and enjoying the district. We ended up going to Ladurée to get some macarons and just continued exploring after than.

After walking around the district, we started to get a little hungry so we headed to Dreamer Miami. Listen if I ever die, please bury me here. That cafe had everything I love in one room: flamingos, coffee, avocado toast, the color pink and green. I can’t reiterate how much I love flamingos, in fact it’s a crazy obsession. There are times where I buy the most pointless things on earth, only due to the fact that there was a flamingo on it, but that’s a story for another day.

As the afternoon was coming to an end, we drove down to the South Pointe Pier where we walked on the pier, beach, and watched the sunset.
