Happy Saturday guys! As I stated on Instagram a few weeks ago, I am working on creating a Dallas City Guide where I will tell you everything you need to know about Dallas and its hidden gems. There are a few places that I go to on a regular basis and usually don’t tag the name of the place/location. A lot of you guys have been asking me where they are located, so I am actually going to go ahead and share everything with you guys through this guide.
The first series with be featuring a really cute macaron shop located in Dallas and Plano, called Chelles Macarons.
I actually went to the one in Dallas, which is actually located in the Dallas Farmers Market. Since it is in the farmers market, you can spend your time relaxing and browsing around while grabbing a box of macarons.
I got a large box with a variety of flavors. Some of the flavors in the box below are pistachio, lemon, birthday cake, salted caramel, coffee, italian cream and more. Usually my favorite macaron flavor is either the coffee or pistachio, but hands down the pink macaron, which is the strawberry cheesecake, was my favorite. As described on their site, the strawberry cheesecake is “filled with cream cheese frosting and a dollop of natural strawberry jam, this macaron is the perfect fruity treat.” Click here to find more about the flavors they carry.
Now, I really want to get into all the the fun stuff. So here are 5 things you need to know about Chelles Macarons:
- They make customized macarons. I mean… they can have anything drawn out on your macarons, how cool is that?! This is perfect for any special occasion such as a graduation party, bridal shower, wedding, baby shower, etc. Or if you wanted to have a cute message written on some macarons, that can be done too. The customized macaron I got was the flower below, because it is perfect for spring!
